Julian Assange is an Australian journalist, programmer and Internet activist, best known for his involvement with Wikileaks, a whistleblower website.

Daniel Ellsberg is a political commentator and activist. A former U.S. military analyst employed by the RAND Corporation, Ellsberg sparked a national controversy in 1971 when he released the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times.

Assange is the next Noble peace prize for sure. Could someone tell me what's the difference between Assange's case and Liu Xiaobo case? There is NO difference, obviously ie there is none difference between China and the USA when it comes to freedom of speech and expression. Gee!

@letherden I'm sorry to disappoint you mate.Wikileaks is TEH BEST invention of the century.That's why Assange is likely the most well placed to be Noble prize rewarded for his impressive contribution to the humanity evolution.Henceforth and thx to him NOTHING could be concealed.It's just shameful the way the USA has been tarnishing his reputation.Assange concerns with the US justice is a blatant proof that shows the whole world how hypocritical & dangerous to the democracy they're capable to be

I can't stand Assange's slow speaking style, and hate that he's just another non-violence believer, but he's an incredibly courageous patriotic hero who is doing the hard job that the coward "reporters" at FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN fail to do.

Recently our indian govt order to crackdown a peaceful march and police attacked poor ppls beaten woman children, teenagers were raped in dark night and thrown in gutter. But our corrupted media is under control of crrptd govt. wish if we had person like Julian who can expose both indian journalism and govt.
