  • @goofball223 Well it does make you angry when you realize how the USA fucks people over so badly, then actually has the nerve to pretend they were doing something good. And it's probably you who felt angry at what you heard.

  • Why does she criticize Bremer when she subscribes to the same ideology of taking over countries and having them administered by "experts"?

She claims in another speech that she wants to take over all of the world's energy companies in order to implement a "green" utopia or some such. How is that different?

She laments that the builders of Iraq companies had no say, but she wants to make sure the builders of US companies have no say either.

Why do people love hypocrisy so much?

  • We are not addressing women's rights in Iraq - we are just killing lots of people. That is not liberation. That is occupation, that is state-sanctioned terrorism.

  • "People who built Iraq were just expected to 'gasp'.....with delight" I dont know whether to laugh or cry!

  • i don't think Naomi Klein catagorizes herself as being a liberal, and am quite sure she is more informed than you on the subject of political ideology. I'll take what she calls herself rather than what you'd like to call her to justify dismissing her.

Sure liberalism does. If we hadn't gone to war with Iraq it would still be one of the leading secular Muslim country in woman's rights.

Joe Biden said everything there is to say about Guliani

  • yes, but liberalism does not address womens rights in Iraq and Islam. I was for the invasion and take down of Saddam Hussien just based on the exectuion of women I saw on TV. We have Gulianni, of NY, who will beat Hillary and we are not conservatives. Bush sucks, I like this lady, don't think I take it out on her.

  • please.

Conservatism consumed itself in America. Don't take it out on intellectuals who speak with true insight.

Cuz Clinton is soo liberal. lol.

  • international corporations can't survive without exploiting other countries.

America can survive fine without this and their influence.

  • i think i'm begining to fall in love with this intellectual woman.

finally someone who sees and says much of what i see and understand about whats going on.

    Keep speaking truth 2 power.

    One America!
