@zuesa thanks for your kind words how true that they pack so much love and memories into there time here with us I am also sorry for your loss I just feel like I have a space in my heart that will never be healed I do have 2 cats and love them dearly to I know my dog was suffering and did not want him to cause we loved him so much but hurts so bad to say goodbye to someone you loved so so much :(

@suejr1 I am soooo sorry for your feelings of loss. My 'big dog' Rogan passed on July 20 2010. She was my constant companion for ten years. It's hard to adjust. Eight years, ten years, it just seems too short for such incredible beings but wow! they sure pack alot of love in their time on this planet. My heartfelt great dog blessings go out to you and your loved ones.

I have five cats between the ages of 12.5 to 16 years and they are all fantastic, vibrant and wonderful. I have one dog who will be 17 years old very soon. She is a wonderful and amazing friend and has taught me alot about the joys of life. Our ten year old german shepard cross just passed away in July 2010. She was vibrant and loving right until the very end. We lost our 12 year cat in Aug 2010 and although he seemed to young to go, it was his time. We miss him but are grateful for the love.

Lonely in general, or wanting to make a wonderful new friend? Go to your nearby animal shelter, find a dog - any dog, but be sure n ot to overlook a dog in his/her middle to late years - and save two lives, the dog's and your own. Right now, this minute, a dog is dying in a shelter because nobody is doing this. It's not too late to save him or her - act now!

I wish I could have them all I know just had to put down our 8 year old golden he was sick it was 2 months ago and still miss him more then ever animals are such a hugh part of our lives and to loose one hurts so much I miss u Lucky :(
