It really, really did. My mouth fell open when I first saw the plot developing for CI. I thought it was the cheapest little ripoff I had send in a long time. Sickening.
Also, the acting in Cruel Intentions was so pathetic and horrible, while the acting in Dangerous Liaisons was superb. I guess that's what happens when you let barely 20-something kids play the roles intended for experienced adults.
