A wintersong for the occasion. I play the turkish Cumbus in an unorthodox way: i tuned it like a tampura and use it as a drone/percussion accompanyment to my singing. It was bloody cold to play out there too, fashionably in the snow..

Un canzone d'inverno per l'occasione. Suono il Cumbus turco in un modo meno ortodosso: accordato come un tampura, lo uso come strumento di bordone/percussione per accompagnare il mio canto.

  • Pretty good overtones. Keep on singing! :)

  • Most unusual and thanks for sacrificing yourself in the cold ;), it makes for a special atmosphere.

I thought I heard Tuvan throat singing and looked up overtone singing on wikipedia which must be the same or similar. Very good!

the clip is unfortunately too short :)

  • Wow! for a single instrument, that sure sounds nice!
