Regardless of your political ideology, it shows little character and contempt for not only the constituents of Mr. Hannan, but also of Europeans in general when MEP's decide to leave during a member of the opposition's speech. Surely if the EPP and Socialists (if we are going to pretend they are any different in anything other than name) are so confident in their policies and concerned with their accountability to their electorate, then they could do the courtesy to listen and defend themselves.
