  • I'm sure this amp sounds great but I don't hear it in this video.

  • @skunizzi Agreed - the camera has a basic microphone and compresses the sound ~Joe

  • Great demo ! What model of guitar do you use ?

  • @TheSilverfoxTN Thanks, the guitar is a '08-1958 Les Paul Reissue

  • @mfrieauff your right i don't need or want this amp. if your going to demo an amp do it proper and MIC the amp!

  • @TRADampsFan

If you don't hear the difference, you don't need the amp ;-) No, seriously, the more modern the sound is, the more gain and lower mids there are in it. Higher distortion from the preamp.

  • @gtrjoeles I have too the Mighty Plex MkII and I use it with my bluesbreaker cab with celestion greenback : 1 heritage G12M et 1 heritage G12H.

  • @gtrjoeles Nice sound ! Les Paul rules ;°)

  • 60 what? 67? 68? the mic in your camcorder makes them all sound the same to me.

if you want switchable to a specific year check out a TRAD PLX100.

  • "Cathode biased" does -not- mean the "tubes are always running at full power".
