I did just that 2 yrs ago but my Oster that I bought 19 yrs ago is still doing such a great job the Vita-Mix is still in the box. It has been crushing ice and making smoothies daily for all those years, have to wonder if the Vita-Mix will be half as good?

@zmcleod Not trying to lambast anyone... but, I could hardly hear anything in this vid... hate when people make vids and do not pay attention to audio. I ended up buying the blender and really needed the info at the time.

First of all.... SPEAK UP when you review something. That was the most ANNOYING bit of mumbling I have ever listened to. And do you think you could say "ahhh" like maybe a few dozen more times? And maybe try NOT to set the camera on a counter, huh? I felt like that just went on and on.... groan

You should of gotten the Oster BCBG08 model. Much Much Better
