  • The Vancouver crowd cheers to the fact that Steve Earle does a respectful and heartfelt cover of Canadian Ian Tyson's classic. Coming from someone of Earl's stature as a songwriter, that's quite a tribute, just like when Neil Young did Ian Tyson's "Four Strong Winds".

  • deluxehd, Your comment is the stupidest comment I’ve heard in a decade. The only thing that is sad to think about in the future is that complete douche bag morons like yourself will be the ones doing all the breeding because you are too dumb to realize the problem we face with overpopulation. You will spend your days with your 10-15 kids in a trailer park someplace filling their heads with complete stupidity and misguided beliefs above and beyond what you will pass down with your genes.

  • deluxehd, the reason you are shedding a tear over the loss of a lifestyle is because there is less than 1% of the old growth rainforest left to cut down, not eco terrorists like you claim. If we threw the doors wide open to satisfy complete retards like yourself, it would take less than a couple of years to clear cut whats left. Then who would you blame? Who are you going to turn your ignorance towards? It won't be yourself because you are clearly to stupid to realize how dumb you are.

  • I was at this show. I grew up listening to Ian Tyson as my parents were always big fans. To hear this song covered by my favorite singer Steve Earle meant so much to me. Thank you for filming so I can always hold onto this moment. :)

  • He did this beauty in Calgary last night- what a nice surprise!

  • My hero! We'll see him in Seattle on 6/9. Bless your heart, Steve!

  • @deluxehd No need to cry, there will always be hookers standing in doorways.

  • It brings tears to the eyes to think that this lifestyle is going to be a thing of the past, thanks to fucking David Suzuki and his eco-terrorists, to be replaced with songs about carbon credits and green initiatives...i weep for the fuckin' future!...

  • Thanks much. Three more sleeps until Steve in Winnipeg.
