  • This is what I like to see. I'm so tired of seeing nothing but pointless burnouts on you tube. Line it up against something and lets see what it will do. Good job! Thumbs up!

  • @JoshHeathMacElvain the dodge won you retard

  • @lvf91265 Hey, sweet setup man, I'm putting together a 400 "b" myself, for a '73 Fury hardtop coupe. Most likely going with aluminum heads. Then a centrifugal supercharger kit after i've been driving it like that for a while.

  • @SirKowalski666 w2 cast iron open chamber....back in the day...long ago...now i run a stroked big block with 440-1 indy heads... it's a differen't world now...lots of parts for us MOPAR guys....back then it was'nt easy but i still kicked azz....long time mopar man here!!!!

  • @Milehighsnake98 Incase you didn't know this, internally (block and rotating assembly) almost all pushrod v8's are pretty much the same, apart from bore/stroke....where mopar was ahead was the valvetrains, ignitions, suspensions, even the firing order of the pistons helped give them more torque. Mopar didn't need an answer for the 350, they just decided to steal some of GM's customers ;)

  • @SirKowalski666 Actually, he's the owner of the nations oldest mopar wrecking yard. He had the original Christine and quite a few of the chargers from the Dukes of Hazzard TV series roll through his lot, including General Lee #1. He could recite torque specs and clearances off the top of his head, so he knows mopar in and out. The 340 was Dodge's answer to the Chevy 350, and it used a LOT of the same things that made the 350 what it was, but the 340 made more power stock.

  • @Milehighsnake98 Oh yeah and your friend who says 340's are a piss-poor excuse for a sbc is full of shit man. Not trying to be an asshole but mopar valvetrains and ignitions alone make their old small blocks better (to me) than any sbc from the 60's or early 70's. There's a reason why the 318 had more torque than the bigger-displacement Ford and GM small blocks...

  • @lvf91265 What heads were you running with those 1050's? just wondering
