@thisisnotyours1 Those people are alredy finished the stage of wearing glasses. They know exactly where those wood chips are going & knows exactly the machine will performes. they will most likly never gets hit by it if he hold his body positions all the time. at same time japanese machine company consider those safty factors too . when new apprentice or worker comes sure have to wear protective glasses since they will be walking around machines& learning it from different prospectives.

Regardless of how much experience you have with a machine like that, I highly advise against wearing long sleeves like that.
