Our society is very much aware of the dark side of men (violence, Greed, Corruption, etc), but we tend to ignore the dark side of women, mostly because of our own hubris and delusions. Most of us think they are harmless, incapable of doing anything wrong or bad. That's why there's the double standard, similar situation is handled differently for each sex. Women are sentenced leniently for the same crime a man is sentenced harshly. Wise up people, get prenups or stay away from marriage altogether
