Welcome back! Sorry it took so long to upload this last video in the Scratch Hawk series. My wild hawk is canabalized beyond redemption. I also broke both propellars so that grounded me until I order more. But I'm not sure if I will, instead I'll get a brushless motor and start scratch building off that. The plane was still too heavy / under powered. My fear is if I go brushless the plane will be too fast for me. I'm not into speed yet so I'd like to work with slow park flyers. I think I'll play with the toys r us glider next to see if I can get that to fly with electronics. With luck I'll get a dsm6 for christmas.
Until next time...keep flyin' :)

  • Ouch . Much more fun and less expensive to build your self . My first plane was a brushless pitts . Carefully assembled it took it out ground tested it every thing was fine and a few people gathered around so being the hero I hit the power and it rose up slowly so I pushed the stick up to make it rise faster and hit the ground total loss

  • ouch i hate when that happens ;)

  • @michaelrc1 lol ya it took me a while to look like i was actually flying it. thank god i used the flight simulator first.

  • @michaelrc1 cool are you gonna use epp foam to build it? I would highly recommend that

  • Im not so sure your spposed to design the rear fin tohave lift, I think that is sopposed to be neutral.

  • Oh no kidding? wow i wonder if that had something to do with the flight characteristics. I'm gonna check that out. Thanks for the comment :)

  • @michaelrc1 rofl now i know why people say that there's people that have more money than brain :S

  • @daveyedgar Epp seems a realy good product to build with but it is impossible to get in Ireland the epp I use is from packaging so I will stick with balsa and coriboard which is readily avalible

  • @daveyedgar I could not get the hang of a flight simulator I had so I trashed some planes insted . I am thinking of building a new plane soon maybe an acrobatic plane as the balsa plane is more of a trainer and I have thought of a name for it allready

  • @daveyedgar You watch the ad video with demo flight you spend the money then wait and wait for it to arive put it togther making sure every detail is perfect then you test fly it and go home with a lot of pieces of foam but at least you still have the big box it came in. I should have read the instructions up is down and back is up
