Mark Schmidter was also jailed by the same judge (Judge Perry) for the same "crime" of passing out flyers on a public sidewalk.

Julian and Mark have both been judged by a petty tyrant who thinks his authority to negate individual rights extends beyond his courtroom. Julian is currently caged. Mark is free pending his appeal. Both are facing 5 months behind bars. I know Julian faces this situation without fear, but I am concerned for any octogenarian in jail. Medications are routinely denied and infections can spread easily in unsanitary conditions.

Julian frequently reminds us that "the price of justice is eternal publicity." The purpose of this contest is to increase the odds of justice. Letters to the mass media and youtube videos are an easy way to put some attention of this situation.

CONTEST:
There are 2 chances to win.

1. Letter to the Editor (Winner gets the One Ounce Silver Liberty Dollar) - You need to submit a letter to the editor about these injustices. In order to qualify for the prize, the Letter to the Editor must be submitted to any Florida newspaper or any major national newspaper. You can submit a letter to the Orlando Sentinel here: http://www.eosun.com/news/2011/sep/02/letter-editor/ Once you have submitted the LTE to the newspaper, post the letter here.

The letter must be posted here by 9/12/2011. That is also the day that Julian will be going in front of Judge Perry to check on the status for appeal.

The letter with the most "likes" by 9/19/2011 5pm EST wins the Silver Liberty Dollar.

2. YouTube Video (Winner gets the One Ounce Silver American Eagle) - You need to submit a video on YouTube about these injustices. Once you have uploaded the video to YouTube, post s link to the video here.

The YouTube video must be posted here by 9/12/2011. That is also the day that Julian will be going in front of Judge Perry to check on the status for appeal.

The YouTube video with the most "likes" by 9/19/2011 5pm EST wins the Silver Eagle.

Bill Thornton and I have spoken and he says Jules should file a counterclaim immediately! We should consider a writ of Quo Warranto as well as assemble a grand jury of 25 sovereign electors from countygrandjury dott orgg Bill Duff is the director there.We can and sould place a lien on this judge's bond, get his oath of fidelity and oath of office. This is unfortunate, I am a friend of Jules, and we simply cannot allow this to happen. If this sets precedent we will have another right exterminated.All of you need to contact the judge and demand his release. I will be contacting them and advising that we will be conviening a county grand jury containing 25 sovereign electors to review the actions of this judge and if we find him outside his authority we will arrest his bond and issue a true bill. We will also present a writ of Quo Warranto!
