@WildBill6942- Not exactly. The music is not dead but originality, individuality and innocence are missing in today's music. Also, now artists have everything easily available for them. We have many bands and artists who sound retro but that magic is usually missing which cannot necessarily be obtained just by possessing any lavish gear and synthesisers.

@hornet841 -- I miss the 80's!! Music from that decade was awesome!! Peace, Alex

Good to hear all the 80s

Actually I meant Buck Rogers in the 25th century. But whatever, it might as well be Buck in the 35th century, and today's shit will sound awesome compared to what is coming.

Agreed. All aspects of a song always sounded cool back then. Today the focus is solely on the Facebooked singers and that's it. This past decade will not be remembered for anything because there was no common vibe to look back upon. And the sucky music totally reflects that. It's all technology and tits anymore. I like T&T like any man but it is totally abused, tasteless & dead today in art. Much like Buck Rogers in the 21st century art. Why can't people see that? Maybe they are dead, too.

It is so brave of someone to write a positive song like this. Love the lyrics and the music. Kudos to Howard Jones and the mime artist.
