@GTK3392 The only parts I liked about Trooper 3 was:
1) the first few scenes on the trench world.
2) GIANT MOTHERFUCKING MECHS. (idk why I guess they remind me of animes like Gundam...only less awesome)
3) that song that the Sky Marshall sang (which made good MV's involving Halo, 40k etc.)
4) Planet killing nuke
apart from that it was just...boring I couldn't care less about the main characters except Rico but he was only in it for a couple scenes and that sucked...

@Gaturgolfer No, he's right. ST1 was awesome. 2 went downhill like a rock, and ST3 just plain sucked, both compared to the first one.

Thank God for the SciFi Channel or else Caspar Van Dien would have no work today. That guy fell off fast!

Haha, even though the SciFi Channel movies suck, I still manage to enjoy them. Also, Casper Van Dien is returning for Starship Troopers 3, meaning it is likely it will not suck, like the second.

Pretty funny. As for the real'Starship Troopers', it's kinda a weird film. You're not sure if they meant it to be a funny movie (that is, a parody of Heinlein's saber rattling neo con political philosophies) or they were actually trying to make a serious Sci Fi epic. Either way, it's still fuckin' hilarious. "Brain Bug"...lol!!!

The movie was definitely a satire, as for the book, I wish I could say the same.
