This is a training session with accent on backing, our new behaviour. In this video you will see Banksy : Standing : Backing : Spinning : Passing around me : Sitting : Playing Dead : Rolling : and then a ball game involving backing to get the throwing distance. Finally a kiss! And yes, he gets lots and LOTS of treats!

  • You might find it useful to go to the Training Section directly from the Homepage of my website. There is quite a bit there on basic training. The important thing is to have a small training pen. I 'm not allowed to put my e-address on YouTube, but if you simply Google in "llama-training" or "Terry Crowfoot" (me!) you'll find my site directly. It's called "Llama-training". Same approach for llamas and alpacas. Best of luck! I understand alpacas can be highly strung and difficult!!

  • wow, that is amazing! I go to a Swedish farmer school, and we have six alpacas there. Me and my friend was asked to train them (because the teachers tough that we were the best whit the animals) but it is very hard, and these alpacas hasn't been patted or anything before. Do you have any tips for us? :)

  • Wow, Banksy is incredible. How much time did it take you to get all these behaviors chained together.

  • love it, nice trainings :o)))

  • God I LOVE your alpacas, your videos just always make me smile!

  • Banksy is a fast learner! Loving the ball throwing!!

  • I now see how much potential my alpaca Buster has- I will keep working, he almost has "ring the bell" down!
