  • Man! Shire's phrasing and bold use of musical instruments to make noise (cars rushing by, human conversations, "confusion") are similar to Lalo Schifrin. That is a compliment.

  • ...Nathaniel Muskat.

    What was he busted for?

    Narcotics.

    Oh we're sorry our mistake....

  • YEEHAW! Dirty, dirty 70's funk.

Many thanks. Killer film, killer soundtrack.

  • GREAT film

    5*s

  • no doubt

  • The song was Y.O.U.

  • David Shire has been a sought after composer in ths house for some years now. I won't use my habit of comparing him, suffice it to say I've been known to let the soundtrack from The Conversation repeat for part of the day while I read.

  • I love this sound! Man, did Shire KNOW how to compose something that evoked the period in which the film was made! Dig it!
