  • Thanks, great video. But I still think that the states only have an agreement to be together and can separate all they want if the Fed pushes too hard.

  • Wikipedia quote: The Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union (commonly referred to as the Articles of Confederationwas the first governing constitution of the United States of America. The Articles' ratification (proposed in 1777 was completed in 1781 and legally united what were originally several sovereign and independent states, allied under the Articles of Association into a new sovereign federation styled the "United States of America". The U.S.A. is a Perpetual contract since 1781.

Yeah, except by that time the Confederate States of America considered themselves a different nation all together so whatever Lincoln said was meaningless.

  • not just a cluster of states but a national state there you have it. The nationalist erected their super state that they always wanted. ashame they weren't wiser. A super state like all super states can't last forever. We just watch the collapse of the soviet union only a matter of time.

  • @dizzo95 think about star trek if a planet wanted out would the Federation say no you can't leave? They have to voluntarily join so they can voluntarily leave.

  • @dizzo95 nope that constitution was torn up and federalism is a union of sovereign entities. You can look that up. We live in a nationalist state due to the Yankee victory. Uniting the states does not destroy sovereignty. I suggest reading Jefferson and Madison. Read the virgina and kentucky resolutions.

  • Good video, thumbs up!

  • They didn't go into much detail with the naval war.

Learn to read, as i said there were TWO!!! states in the Union where slavery was allowed even after Licolns abolishment, New York only ended slavery 20 years before that, so its a bit hypocritical. Anyway, the error of the south is that they try to extend slavery beyong their own state territories , so i am not sad they lost,

Live by the sword, die by the sword!

Yep, they sold out to cultural marxism

  • @leonidas512

well I will admit this vid a vague but the general idea still holds true. the northern territories didn't have slavery therefore nothing was abolished in the north. the south and the border states had slaves. the reason why the border states weren't freed is because the union needed their support if they were to defeat the confederacy. the border states could've swung either way, but for the most part were occupied by union forces.

  • Bunch of fucking crap, slavery was only abolishedin southern states not in Northern terrotories, and is slavery was the issue of the civil war, why did 2 slave states joined the union against the south?
