NO my posterior chain (hams, gluts, lower back) is doing most of the work in this lift. Dead lift is a total body exercise that involves the lower and upper body and activates about 70% of your muscles.

@bigbossman120 Actually his form is fine. If you go as low as a squat, the back tends to round more. If you followed Starting Strength from Rippetoe or Madcow, you would know.

@armandrulezz yeah im going to agree with every one else on this one. 1. his form is like perfect (trust me ive seen some bad form when it comes to dead lifting when i first start training some of my clients) 2. you cant get ripped and look decent without doing some form of heavy deadlift, because the deadlift and squat are the two best strength size and power building exercises. other than the Olympic lifts.

you bend your knees too early on the way down. the weight cant be set on the knees. otherwise nice.

@armandrulezz thats some gay comment i keep seeing from guys who cant even deadlift their bodyweight - 315 in deadlifts is not even much weight - and his form was close to super perfect so whats wrong?
what exactly is the point of this video just out of curiosity? 315 is not imprssive especially at your weight what are you like 220 at least lol..i dont get it?
