Dr. Breeding talks about the use of psychiatry with military personnel and veterans.
Drugs are given to soldiers to help block emotional reactions to combat, lower the stress of combat, block pain or even fight off fatigue or lack of sleep.

Once a veteran comes home, psychiatry continues to treat soldiers with drugs for post traumatic stress disorder or PTSD.

However, people take certain combinations of these drugs can experience adverse events such as weight gain, heart problems, psychosis, increased risk of suicide and even death.

Once you have been a combat soldier then you never will ever really fit back into the "normal" life. The best you can do is fake it and control yourself and try to live happy and be good men or women.dont give up and as time passes you will find your crutch and your comfort and your love for life.

I'm Happy that finally the citizens of this country are showing some concern for the health (physical and emotional) of our Veterans..I only wish someone had done the same for our Veterans of 40 years ago, rather than burn the flag and call us baby killers. Now that the country has initiated this positive attitude for our Veterans...KEEP the ball moving in that direction..DON'T STOP because of politicians who could care less....
