where did you get this fan?
-
another nice one! i cleaned the blades on one one time and found the brassy tinge was smoke and dirt. what i thought was an aqua-green base was baby blue when cleaned.

you should have bought this fan on my birthday! it was 2/21! you were so close!!!

Does it run hot? I saw one at a antique store for 12 dollars in good shape but with a melted cord. It does run. Before I buy I was just wondering if it ran hot? Iam paranoid about that!

@Oldfans1 I've got several Knapp Monarchs and none of them run hot. I'm not sure why the cord is melted on that one but it doesn't sound good. The only thing I,ve seen a cord get hot on is an old heater.
