As a Canadian, I have watched Gabby Giffords from a distance, through TV and news reports. She is a true inspiration, incredibly strong, and very smart. I wish her the best in her continued recovery, and I'm sure we will see her again dedicating herself to the people around her. Best of luck to Mrs. Giffords and Mark Kelly.

Really? Is it not hate speech to classify an entire group as being hateful, and then to claim that free speech should be legislated against, sure awful things should not be said or done, but if we take away peoples right to say or do them then we have obstructed freedom. I believe in liberty even though it has its costs.

Correct. It was all fake. It became obvious to me when there was no head scarring and no disruption of hair regrowth.

a true inspiration, she is fake, shes an actor. don't you find something odd about that commercial, border security? veterans? are you serious! please everyone wake up, these people are either being told what to say or maybe they are brainwashed somehow. all i know it's friggen scary and i need to get the hell out of here. i need an operation paperclip to get me to germany..

Hopefully in time her full faculties will return too her. I noticed several instances where I could tell the audio had been cut and restarted, it's possible she was having trouble remembering her lines. Regardless, she's made a death defying recovery, it's astonishing really, and proof of the resiliency of the human body, and spirit.
