A walk in the Yorkshire Dales near Skyreholme, down into Trollers Gill where as legend would have it a beast lays in wait for unfortunate travellers...Barghest or Barguest is the name often given in the north of England, especially in Yorkshire, to a legendary monstrous black dog with huge teeth and claws, though in other cases the name can refer to a ghost.

  • This was my #1 destination on my trip to the Yorkshire Dales from the US in May. Troller's Gill is amazing as is Perceval Hall and Skyrehome.
