Apparently Lee is very devoted to Gai so devoted that he will join him in his evil doings. Plus he joined the akatsuki and became sasori's bitch.

And....Kisame...got...a...thumbs..up..from....Itachi O-o yeah Kisam kinda got a bit tooooooo excited over that....Hmmmm.
