Jimmie Riddle (September 3, 1918 - December 10, 1982) performing his Fox Chase technique par excellence.
For many years he was Roy Acuff's piano, harmonica and accordion player, often featured at famous country music circus the "Hee Haw". His eephing & hamboning show there is more than just worth a watch, too. My what an artist...
Enjoy!

  • Kim Feilds book "Harmonicas, Harps and Heavy Breathers" has a swell write up about Jimmy Riddle. He felt right at home with Jazz music and was quite an intellectual. It really did not show when he was hand farting a song or eephin it away but he was an all around genious.

  • @Wharty hey thx for this really interesting insight, pal!

  • Jimmie Riddle and Jackie Phelps operated at a high level of creativity to which most of us could only admire and aspire. Both are greatly missed.
