1st spoon: it was bent when he put it in his cupped palm. Then he just flattens his palm to make it look like it's bending.

2nd spoon: Clearly prepped. He keeps moving them around when he asks her to pick so she can't see the creases in the handles. Then he bends it a little more as he's making a joke.

Don't be obtuse. Fire and wind are well-understood physical phenomena that can be easily reproduced. Spoon bending and other psychic effects have a long history of their claimants being unable to perform under controlled scientific conditions, or else being exposed as trickery. For ten years, James Randi has been offering a 1 Million USD prize to anyone that can demonstrate a paranormal ability. So far, nobody has passed preliminary screening tests.

It's very simple. If you say you have some sort of paranormal ability, there are three possibilities:

1) you are lying

2) you are deluded

3) you really do have an ability

If #3 is the case, you should be able to demonstrate it in such a way that nobody can prove you wrong, and earn yourself 1M USD. If you can't or won't, I'll refer you back to options 1 and 2.

Nobody has ever been able to demonstrate a paranormal ability to bend metal objects under controlled conditions. Whenever it is demonstrated, it can easily be explained by physical actions. Walking on hot coals is also a simple trick. When coals burn, they create a layer of ash that insulates the hot embers underneath. The trick is to walk evenly at a steady pace to avoid breaking the ash layer. Your feet will never get hot enough to burn.

Sorry, but Geller is a complete fraud, and not even very good at it. He uses the same tricks as this guy, but he's not even as good at covering it up. Everything he does is a simple trick, and he's been caught cheating so many times it's not even funny. There's a video on here from the 80's where he went on the Tonight Show and refused to perform because they wouldn't let him cheat by using his own props. That people continue to believe him just shows that people *want* to believe this stuff.
