Even though I grew up and live in the Bronx,while in the military met up with cats from the Md/DC area and got put on to go-go (this is like 84).The livest music out there.The only way to REALLY appreciate go-go is to see it live.The energy from everyone involved just gets you so AMPED! If ya clothes ain't soaking wet from sweat after a live go-go show,you have no soul AT ALL.

I live in Texas, but grew up lived in Northern Virginia. And when I talk about go go they look at me like I am speaking a different language. This is my fav go go song.
