This was a theatrical "promotional" film designed to "sell" Chevrolet in 1936. Industrial filmmakers like Jam Handy produced cartoons and live-action shorts for major advertisers to "subtly" sell their organization's products- Borden's "Sunshine Makers" (1935), produced by Ted Eshbaugh, is another example of the "promotional" cartoon.
