Resident Evil 5 (PC) - Modded Knife Slot Weapons Test (HD)

So, you can easily swap out items in the PC version of Resident Evil 5 by using a hex editor like Cheat Engine. This slot (called the 10th inventory slot) is by default an infinite ammo slot, which means no reloading animation at all.

However, as demonstrated by the video, swapping the knife for a gun has its advantages. Here, I swapped out the knife for Jill (modded to replace Sheva) for the M3 shotgun. As you can see, as soon as it hit the Quick Knife Attack button, the shotgun fires immediately with no delay, as you don't have to reach for the gun. Notice how I can interrupt the Samurai Edge (also a mod) pistol fire with an immediate shotgun blast by using the knife attack.
