He is the biggest recipient of insurance lobbyist money. His bill eliminates the public option, which would have given you the right to choose. Instead, his bill will FORCE you, and all Americans, to buy private insurance. That's right; it's right there in his bill. Max Baucus sold you out, for money.

@jaybullen i think reform is needed, having said that i dont think the government has any need to be in it unless the government agrees to shrink..alot..not going to happen..and the special interest would bow out..also not going to happen..and if people were allowed to buy across state lines and tort reform were on the table, but the prob is gov. officials arent going to do any of this unless they are forced so our only option is to remember who voted for what and make the pay in nov.

i agree with your post with the exception of your solution, in my humble opinion, the solution lies in principles, morality, dignity, and responsibility, the people we as a people elect must be honorable in their personal and public lives and their interest must be in the country and the people in it in order for the U.S. to revive itself from the corruption and greed we have come to be known for. i hope for our sake the people will wake up and realize that freedom is really not free.

Funny how Americans all rate issues like the Economy, Health Care, the War in the Middle East, the Environment, and many other things as top priorities to focus on.

Rarely do I ever see Americans concerned about Government corruption.

It's sad. Either American's have turned a blind eye to corrupt politicians or have simply told themselves that politicians are corrupt and nothing can be done.
