  • Pornography is just the packing, where Steve Hanks work is the package as well as the contents of that package. Kinda of like someone judging a book by its cover. Steve Hanks work caught my eye because I saw that he really saw the emotion, the inner mechanics to each woman. Something most woman think goes unnoticed ,he noticed and is capable of capturing. That's what draws me to his work

  • As a photographer, I truly enjoy photographing nudes. To me, lighting the nude creates a special challenge as well as serving as a metaphor of "baring one's soul". Yes, I, too, have had some comments about nudes being as pornography, but the aim in photographing nudes for me, has little to do with sexuality and NOTHING to do with pornography. Lighting the nude, for me, is about composition, lighting, discovering and accepting one's self and expression of pure emotion.

  • what an awesome nice guy!!!

  • Beautiful work, and thank you for posting this. It is really helpful. I luv figure painting as well.
