Hello, my name is Gary Melancon with Paramount RV Repair in Reno, Nevada, Northern Nevada's Premier RV collision repair and service center. We're here today to talk about a healthy RV roof. Is your RV roof healthy? We've got some examples today to show you what is an unhealthy roof and how to take care of your roof.

So let me start with water causes the most damage. Let me just show you here in this plumbing vent. If you look down, the roof is getting a little soft, its cracking. The water that gets inside of that causes the erosion inside the walls of your motor home. Then over here, look at this skyline vent. You can see here in the corner, it's cracking, it's leaking. It needs to be sealed. See the dirtiness of this roof? It needs to be cleaned and treated.

Over here we have another plumbing vent where the seams are leaking and the cap is distorted. What we're talking about is an RV healthy roof. We have an organization here at Paramount.
