Russell really impressed me this game with his ability to avoid the pass rush and squeeze passes in to tight spots (as evidenced by the TD).

a small highlight reel like this helps you realize what focus determination and dedication can get you....if Russel had those three attributes he could have been the next Randall Cunningham/Warren Moon but he didnt rise the black qb

I really really wish that jamarcus would turn out to be good. i want him as a raider again. 3rd string and develop him, how we should have done in the first place.BRING JAMARCUS BACK. if he really wants to be a pro hes going to have to step up. he has the physical attributes, but his mind needs to be there too

i honestly believe this was russell's only highlight in his nfl career. he very well may be the worst quarterback in nfl history. good in college, terrible in pros

I'm sure he made some pretty bad throws on this drive too. All the good highlights are what is shown. I can't stand Russell. I already disliked him when he held out for so long on his rookie year. Russell doesn't try hard enough. He overthrows his receivers by 10 yards and he doesn't even take responsibility for it. He is selfish. He just cares about the money.

Oh well. It's not a big deal though. Someone else will replace him, that's for sure. Oakland should have kept Garcia last year.
