White House closes Lafayete Park due to DADT protesters, kicks out media

The police assigned to the White House literally told the media to leave today as six military vets were protesting the President's inaction on Don't Ask Don't Tell (the policy banning gays from serving in the military) by handcuffing themselves to the White House gates. The mainstream reporters were not pleased, as shown in this video where one reporter, I believe, called the White House to complain. Video filmed by John Aravosis, AMERICAblog.com

To the journalists of the US, we the people cannot stand much longer the oppressive actions of this government. Our freedom is at stake, we cannot dissent from the policies of this government for oppression is the rule of the day. I am appalled at the actions of the agents of the government, they have forgotten whom they serve as well as the bureaucrats. The governed are no longer in control of the government, it is high time that revolution happen, hopefully peaceful but revolution nonetheless.
