Is this really sign language or just interpretive dance? I must know.

I did what I felt was my best sign language interpretation of this song and what God lead me to do. It's not all correct, but it's not totally wrong either.  I am also a lousy dancer!!

You should give your credit to IBFOUND93 who posted your "borrowed" translation 2 months prior to you I see you added some of your own PSE. I like the fact you are trying to improve on your ASL, but give credit where credit is due! Based on your previous videos, this was not entirely your work...your too PSE or English...so please give honor the person you borrowed info from and give them the credit due.

Thank you for your comment. I am somewhat new at signing. It's nice to have people like IBFOUND93 who was a big help to me and I thanked him for that, and then I made this song my own as I have with other songs. Translating worship songs is not strictly ASL and my interpretation does not say ASL performance. It came from my heart and I gave it to God. IBFOUND93 gives his credit to God so I think the right person was given due credit, wouldn't you?

great job, but if you thing about it, "before the world began" means in the past, so next time you sign it sign in the past becuase thats what it means, not what you signed wich was in the presence of, "you are standing before me"

Hey thanks for the comment. I understand what you are saying. I have watched your videos which is where I get many ideas. If you ever sign this song I would love to see it. I have only seen one other person sign this song in true ASL form; ibfound93. AWESOME!!! Please feel free to comment on the others. I am no professional and will never be one. I do this for fun and because it makes me feel good that I am doing it for God. My church loves it too. What else to say?

I read you comments, and I think that it is good that the deaf,coda, or skilled terp. comment on signing if they find something is not right. Most of the gospel songs should be in asl. It's the lang. of the deaf. Hearing people are not signing for the deaf. If they were then they would use asl. I understand why the deaf get upset with us about their lang. We need to get into the deaf comm. that is the only way to learn. That is such a beautiful song, but not beautifully signed

Hi, thanks for the response. I know IBFOUND93 give his credit to God. And God should get the glory. I know your performance does not say ASL, but the general population assumes all signing is "ASL". I did not know you gave private credit to IBFOUND93. My thoughts were you should give public credit to him, overall credit to God.
