Potatoes are South American, brought back to Europe by John Hawkins, a Brit. The Irish are just very very good and growing a lot of them.
Heinz is actually American, though of German ancestry, as are many many Americans themselves. Though I've never heard the expression 'German American' but there's a lot of them, and they contributed greatly to your nation.
Your comic delivery is pretty sharp though, enjoyed your shenanigans :)

"Wien" stands for Vienna, so its from Austria :D
