On May 29th 2007, I, Martijn Guliker, travelled to Switzerland. There, I fulfilled an old dream of mine: I participated in the excavation of a 220 Million old Plateosaur (a kind of long necked dinosaur). And not just a dinosaur, no, an adult Plateosaur can reach a total length of up to 9 meters!

My other video of the excavation showed the futile attempt of the excavator to get through the stone. However, it came back, with reinforcements! Instead of the digging apparatus, it was now mounted with a hydraulic jackhammer. Eat that, stone!

With this modification, we could make our prospecting trenches and see if we could find bones. Which we did!
