@Loewenthal1 How do you figure it's a phone? It doesn't record like one at all. It records like an actual video camera, which makes it a concern for the store. A phone is fine if your talking on it, and I have never seen anyone film themselves grocery shopping in my life. That would be a sign to leave the store for me, because the person is either a retard or a wackjob.

P.S.-On a personal note, it's still considered a phone. It just has a feature that allows use of a camera.

It's not uncommon for any mobile phone to have a camera. So, by that, more or less everyone brings a camera to a store.

White kids steal too...but not at the rate of blacks...atleast not at my store. If you have a problem with that then whatever. I call like I see it. @Hero2many I worked in the Gap and our shrink came from women's apparel... at least 80 percent of it... and I should be sensitive as an African American Man It happens all the time when I have people following around like im about to steal and its not even in my nature or demeanor. I think you need to see it for yourself.

@neocaramale I work in retail too, 5 years at Quiktrip and now 4 years...AT PUBLIX! Not sure where you got those phony numbers, but 9 out of 10 arrest that are made at my store, they're not white women. I'm not racist, I'm just telling you what I see. Stop being so sensitive. lol..

I agree with the guy below. The only people who bring cameras to the food store are asshole kids looking to become jackass stars or play pranks. He wanted to make sure you didn't start some shit, and if you did, he could get right on it. Smart manager, and not racist at all. If anything, you are the one with the racist attitude.
