would've been nice if you had interpreted it a little more and done some different riffs on each instrument instead of doing the exact same thing every time...

I agree! :) Actually, I was originally planning a larger production, including a march that would have (hopefully) mimicked the open sequence in Robin Hood. However, I then heard word of the Smule Ocarina contest and wanted to get something out FAST. Also, I have the most trouble playing the Ocarina.... and because that's the instrument I was trying to highlight, I thought it best not to stylize any of the other parts. I left the flair for the ending tailored specifically for Smule :)

Yeah, it's a classic. I like to play this song along with "Not in Nottingham", "Oo-de-lally" and even "Love". I wrote out parts for the ukelele, harmonica and smule ocarina. Check out the description for this video, I've included links to where I wrote the music out.
