Eternal Life: Preserving the Memory of Beechville is a reflective look at how one African Nova-Scotian community is coping with urban sprawl encroaching on its borders. Following the war of 1812, a group of freed slaves settled in Beechville, Nova Scotia as refugees escaping the United States. Almost two centuries later, as urbanization threatens many of Canada's rural communities, Beechville itself is being swallowed up. At the core of the community, stands the Beechville United Baptist Church. Established in 1844, the Church is the final relic giving testimony to the area's history.

  • This is clearly what the white supremacy does, if you don't agree to sell your property they will build a dump, or put a highway through the center of town to cut you off and drive you out..That is why you cannot give these fucking genocidal bastards any room to spread their damn germs, I see a few have decided to breed with these genetic mutants, big mistake...

  • you can clearly see that those black were indians that were in slaved

  • @3bjs Yes, I understand what you're saying, they tell all 3rd world immigrants that all people of colour here in Canada are from 3rd world countries. Now these people have been brainwashed into believing that only whites could be the reason for such a great country.

  • One day Canada will be indicted for murdering aboriginal children in the Indian residential schools. Do a google search on “Hidden from History” or “Canada’s hidden holocaust”. Know your country before calling yourself a Canadian. I call my self an Indian because I am proud to be an Indian!

  • @gshunw here in Canada they gave us blacks the lands outside of the core of downtown centres. We lived in rural areas for generations on "worthless" land, now with whites leaving the cities because their immigrants are causing social disorder the whites have decided to take our lands which we held for generations and try to force us into immigrant inner city ghettos.

  • This happens all over North America. A formerly quaint small town looks like it's dunked in plastic.

  • Ohh cool! I'm gonna visit Nova Scotia now!

  • I live in Toronto, but my relatives are from here. My grandfather is a Loppie. People don't believe me when I tell them I'm mixed.

  • Now that's a switch. Its usually the opposite happening. Minorities moving in and whites moving out :-)
