I just chained a shiny Shinx at a chain of 41 and got to 68 but then it broke.

@TheShinyHunterMo: Go only to zone 4 patches that shake the same as the original patch, avoid side by side patches, don't go into a patch if there are 2 or more patches in zone 4, avoid patches on the very edge or corner of the grass, it has a 50% chance of breaking your chain, even if it's the pokemon you're looking for. Reset your radar as necessary, by going 50 steps to recharge it WITHOUT leaving its effective range. You'll know a shiny patch when you see one. I don't actually have any chai

@Z33 nice chaining do u have still fails like a normal chainer or have u always sucess? I chain 1 shiny each week. But now i know how to do it but i dont play it even longer XD Ironie

@D3ciever This really works, I do it the same way and I get shinies all the time too. A chain of 120 is unnecessairy, from a chain of 40 (or higher) you get the best chance which is 1 in 206, pretty good if you realise that the normal chance of a shiny encounter is 1 in 8192 :D. Then just keep resetting your pokeradar. Good luck with your shiny hunting! :)

@Z33 I'm gonna check out your channel! I've chained shinies before, my highest is 67 (pachirisu, IDK why, they arent that interesting), but I break often before 40.

Dude how the hell r u so good at chaining? The only shiny I've gotten this way is starly and I got lucky cause I got it at chain 5 lol.

@D3ciever I just try to be patient and I always try to follow the basic rules of chaining. Take a look at my channel profile, I have my beginner's guide written on there. It contains all the rules that I follow. Good luck.
