Held in mid-July 09, Exercise Northstar VII simulates a major terrorist assault in Singapore similar to the coordinated attacks across Mumbai, India in November 2008.
In the most complex and realistic Northstar scenario to date, a total of 15 "terrorists", who are spilt into six assault teams, launched multiple "attacks" in ten locations, comprising "soft" targets like hotels and shopping malls.
Watch how 15 agencies and emergency response forces led by SPF responded swiftly in a coordinated manner to neutralise the "terrorists".
The safety and security of Singapore is not only dependent on the authorities. Everyone can play a part as well.

Terrorist may think Singapore is a easy target just because we are a small country. But thanks to the SAF and Security Agencies, Singapore is not a country to mess with.
