  • You bum you. We are paying your salery. Take the test or take a hike. You union member douchbag.

  • oh buddy, pre-employment/random drug testing is most definitely a 4th Amendment violation.

its an unwarranted search and seizure of bodily fluids performed not by government but by an employer with government consent.

you know where there's people willing to "give" up their rights, there are governments willing to "take" them.

SEO, what has drug testing achieved other than discriminating against many hard working US citizens?

  • Plenty of jobs have drug testing. It is not a 4th amendment violation. I am a former teacher, and I know plenty of teachers who used drugs -- cocaine, pot, even crack. Test em'! Your arguments is illogical.

  • God bless you for speaking up!!! What happened to innocent before proven guilty? Our teachers are being treated like criminals on probation.

  • You people can say all those negative things but this teacher rocks and if you havent met her youll be sorry for wat you sed..youll jus be nobody 2 me..

  • This is Stupid How are us Kids and Teachers suppost to Get Stoned! How come they don't drugtest Politicians,Doctors....the Border Gaurds!

  • what the hell you assholes trying to hide - test 'em or FIRE THEIR FUCKIN ASSES.

  • Random drug testing punishes the majority for the actions of the minority.

  • Mrs.Shirai U ROCK!!!!!!OH AND YEA I AGREE!!!

  • Debra, thank you for your tremendous courage and conviction. As an educator, you are espousing the fundamental values that your students--our future citizens--will aspire toward. On the other hand, it is shameful that the governor would politicize this issue for headlines, rather than keep to her oath of office to support and protect the U.S. and Hawaii state constitutions. Mahalo!!
