@Kukkamultatytto i think the only reason people like jess is because of "milo ventimiglia blindness". because milo yes is gorgeous and a darned good actor which is why he;s able to play such a jerk but except for two episodes in season 6, jess is a rude, thoughtless, self-destructive punk who cares for no one but himself and if people justify how he treats rory, how do they justify how he treats luke? and yet most people would rank jess as the best of rory;s boyfriends when he was obvs the worst

Jess was about 20 here, his age is no excuse. Yes, he grew up, but god did I hate him in this episode (and his attitude during all the seasons except for the sixth). I don't get why people like him either - Milo Ventimiglia is good-looking, sure, but that doesn't make Jess to be any better character.

Jess cared about Luke, he was just prideful and Luke make him felt guilty and he didn't like that. So he said crap. What Jess does best. But he loved Luke as much as Luke loved him, Jess just had a harder time showing it.

@jimbopumbapigsticks logan was my favorite too! he made mistakes but he knew her the best and rory was the most important thing to him and he knew how to show it and she had a chance to be with jess but turned him down because she and logan truly loved each other. and i agree even dean was better than jess. i thought lorelai was dead on about jess from the beginning.
