The snow just , like muffles all the sound! :0

I watched this train come through Pitman the same night. My house is up the block so its a hop skip and a jump to the tracks.

23 inches? Baloney! More like 23 millimeters.

Superb!!!

This is certainly a shot that you don't get many chances to capture! Plus, who doesn't love to hear the sound of a good train horn on a cold winter night? Great job!

The headlights were tricking your focus. Shooting video in the snow is a special skill set we rarely use. Thanks for going out in the cold to get this for all of us.

Thanks! What is the biggest problem is snowflakes/water drops on the camera lens. I had not had the chance to wipe the lens clean after taking video in the snow earlier in the day. Should have done that since it almost cost me this shot. Oh well, no one ever said shooting in the snow was easy. ha Thanks for watching!

This was an inspection trip as I believe they were responding to a call on downed trees in Wenonah. They inspected and on the following morning 5222 and 5221 with a backhoe took care of business.

You sure about that? I don't see how that is possible (at least with the December 19th, 2009 snowstorm). In this video, you can see them take the switch and head to the right after hitting the block signal in Woodbury. They entered the Pennsgrove Secondary and continued southbound. In any event, the first train to pass through Wenonah was the Sunday night move to Millville with NS 5278. You can see from my video titled "NS train hits big snowpile" that no train had passed through Wenonah yet.
