  • Is there a loud-enough audio system on the causeway ? How good is it ? Or should I better take my AM radio with me ?

  • @justanick they have a very good sound system there on the causeway, so you dont need anything... have a great time!!

  • Tell me the truth, how hard is it to get causeway tickets?????

  • This was shot on the NASA causeway. And yes, the tickets are very hard to get. You must call the phone number at NASA's Web site, and find out when they are going on sale, then get ready to call the minute they go on sale. It is like getting tickets to a concert that you know will be sold out. It is 100% Better to watch it on the causeway than at the visitor center, because there, you can not see the shuttle on the launch pad, and it is a lot farther away. YOU GOT TO GET THE CAUSEWAY TICKETS !

  • Pretty imporessive video editing, except right at lift-off the audio is about 3 seconds behind the image. And I might have canned that constantly babbling excessively wordy commentator to go with just the natural outdoor sound of the launch coming at you across the water. But awesome job on this.

  • Thanks RJy4356, Yea you are right, I was off a bit. I would have loved to just go with the outdoor sound I got on my video, but it was so windy that day, it was mostly just wind fuzz, so i had to do something. Thanks for the constructive criticism!! :)

  • My first time was STS-133 but from KSC and it came up behind the sign. However I did get tickets for STS-134 coming up at the causeway. Booyahhh I can't wait.

  • Is your wife married? More video of her next time? Hah! Just teasing. Great vid and editing!

    When they launch.

  • I hope to see it from Titusville. If we can get causeway for 3 and cheap LOL we will do it.

  • @arkansasvinny were doing a cotest at my school and two winnrs go to causeway

  • Thank you. The video really sums up what the day is like and I love that you caught the "beanie cap" being removed from the external tank. That always lets you know that it's time to fly!

  • Awesome Video !!! :D

I WAS THERE!!!!, I've been on KSC Visitors Centre, travelling around VAB, Apollo-Saturn Centre and all stuff. At Apollo's place were a really great place to stay and watch the launch, but I wanted to finish de visit to KSC and couldn't go back in another bus, so stayed at Visitors Centre to watch the Launch. Was impressive, awesome, how in a few seconds you have 7 man living a dream... I will never forget that Feb 7th :D

    Greetings from Spain!

  • Pretty steady on the liftoff. Tripod? VERY close pad shot, what was the zoom before you backed it up to follow the lauch?
