Any military units that teach Unarmed Combat will teach white to yellow belt techniques MODIFIED for effectivenessto its soldiers.So if ur goal is seld Defense,going to ur avg Martial Arts School to study for 4 years to learn how to deal with the most common assaults women will face is a waste of time.I am of course biased and recommend that u train with a senshido affialted school, or purchase Senshido's Rape Prevention Set.

There is psychology at work here. She is being pleasant, passive, non-aggressive, non-threatening, right up to the sudden instant where she launches a totally berserk attack, far more violent than the other guys are prepared for.Targeting soft tissue of eyes and throat. It's like 'shock N run'. It takes a moment for the other guys to switch into 'fight' mode and in that moment, she is gone.

...has anyone considered the fact that as soon as you know and practice martial arts, and/or any type of self-defence you are legally a weapon. and that is for a good reason. when you know how to single-handedly break someones bones, you should also learn to control yourself, and to overlook a situation. so the "on the street you survive" philosophy might not be the best one. it's like giving someone a ferrari how doesn't even know how to drive.
