In the next year I am going to continue to put a priority on fun and the things that I enjoy in life. So one of my goals is to go to a Harry Potter conference, perhaps Wrockstock. This may mean pushing back against my mom if she says no. This is terrifying but I think it is something I really want to do and I want to hold ownership of my decisions and not let my mom control that. *crosses fingers*

Good question! Let’s see…well, I just submitted my app to become a graduate assistant; getting that would be really helpful. And next year at this time I’ll be applying/interviewing for my student teaching placement in school libraries. In the meantime, I don’t have any specific actions planned, other than continuing to work hard in my classes. But now that you’ve mentioned it, maybe I should come up with something concrete so I have something to work towards in the more immediate future.

I've wanted to be a professional musician for my whole life, and I've recently narrowed it down and decided that it was singing that I wanted to do most of all, so I'm going to work really hard to sort of set up my own business or something, and just get in touch with a load of people and see if I can help out at music centres and various clubs. I'd also really love to work with children so I'd love to combine the two together somehow.

Thanks for the inspiration Melissa. I am hopefully going to go back to school after 11 years. I am going to study and learn Asian languages. I love the Asian culture. I am really scared that I can't do it, but I have decided (for the first time in my life) that I can't give up because I'm scared. I have always been one to run away when it gets tough but this time I am going to do it and prove to myself I'm not the loser I see myself as.

I suppose my one, solid, concrete action that I'm taking to pursue my passion for the theatre is going forth with my college applications and auditioning for some of the best theatre conservatories in my state and in the country. From there, it's all up in the air until I get start getting my acceptance (*cringe* and rejection) letters.

I am going to try to gain more work experience because I want to be an archeologist (like Eia haha), to make me stand out from the 'crowd'.

What I'm trying to do is put more effort into all of my school subjects in general but in Cegep (in Quebec we have Cegep, which is basically college) I want to get into a Literature program but I'm worried that if they look at my grades and see that some of my other marks aren't great then they'll reject me. My english marks are high but when it comes to math and sciences I don't rank quite as high. I'm not a senior yet though, so I guess I have time to improve.
