  • @annaelizabeth23 its not abusive it helps them breathe while they're racing. more racehorses use them than dont. i would rather see their tongue tied then them die on the track because they cant breathe. horses who tend to choke easy have their tongues ties out of their mouth. it helps them its not cruel. its the last thing you put on before they go on the track and the second thing to come off once off the track. first its the headcheck and maybe poles, then the tongue tie.

  • Thanks for the great demo. I have a barrel horse that has DDSP and need to try this out and see if it helps him.

  • It might look gross and pain full, but if a horse gets it's tounge over the bit it s REALLY uncomfortable. I thought the same thing at first.
